We had a most enjoyable walk at St Gilles-Vieux-Marche despite the 33 degrees direct sun. The cooling breeze helped and after 25 minutes we were under the forest canopy which was very pleasant. We kept the pace easy with lots of stops and enjoyed views over the village from the lookouts. Just 3 participants due to the hot weather.
